REMINDERS & GUIDELINES

When buying from Mercari, several factors should be considered to ensure a satisfactory purchasing experience. Here are some factors to consider:

Trust your instincts!

If something seems too good to be true or if you feel uncertain about a transaction, trust your instincts and proceed with caution. Avoid making impulsive purchases and take your time to make informed decisions.

Seller disclosure...

Understand that we (Admins) are not liable for undisclosed flaws, questionable authenticity, or other issues not disclosed by the seller. It's essential to carefully review the item description. (BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!)

Thorough description review

Thoroughly read the description provided by the Mercari seller to prevent complications. Pay close attention to details such as item condition, dimensions, authenticity claims, and any disclosed (mentioned or stated) flaws or imperfections. This information can help ensure that the purchased item meets your expectations.

Check the Mercari seller's profile for additional insights into their authenticity and trustworthiness. Sellers with more ratings may be perceived as more trustworthy, but it's essential to remember that all purchases on Mercari are done at the buyer's own risk.

Transit damage and loss

Take note that we (admins) are not responsible for items damaged or lost during transit, whether in Japan or by local couriers.

Shipment delays

Be aware that unexpected delays in shipment may occur due to factors beyond the platform's control, such as seller, supplier or courier delays. Buyers should be patient at all times!We admins will not respond to impatient buyers who dm us repeatedly about the same issue after we have previously explained the situation and reminded them of the terms and conditions.

PAYMENT

These are the conditions when placing an order from us:

Ordering Responsibility

Ensure that you are fully committed (100% sure) when placing an order. Once an order is placed, it is expected that the customer (you) intends to follow through with the purchase.

Payment requirement

All items are PAYO (pay as you order) or BAYO (bayad as you order). The processing of your order will commence only after full payment has been received.

Failure to send payment

If payment is not received within the specified timeframe, the order will be considered void. We will not proceed with processing or fulfilling the order until payment is received in full.

Cancellations

Cancellations are NOT ALLOWED (strictly prohibited) under any circumstances. Once an order is placed and payment is made, it cannot be cancelled. Customers should carefully consider their purchases and ensure their commitment before placing an order.

RETURN / REFUND

These are the conditions after securing your items from Mercari:

Refunds only apply to unavailable items

Refunds are applicable only if we are entirely unable to secure the item/s you ordered. This typically occurs if the item becomes sold out before our team has the opportunity to secure it on your behalf.Once an item's status is sent to you as 'secured,' it indicates that our team has successfully obtained it for you.In cases where an order is cancelled by the system or the seller, we will promptly re-secure the same item or find an alternative for you at the original price you paid.However, it's important to note that our policy dictates refunds are only eligible if there is absolutely no other means for us to acquire the exact photocard you requested at the agreed-upon price point.

Refund and Exchange Policy

All orders are final, and items are not eligible for refund or exchange. Buyers are advised to make purchases with caution, understanding that once a transaction is completed, it cannot be reversed or exchanged.


These are the conditions after shipping your on hand items:

Incorrect Product Dispatch

The option to return a parcel is available only if we sent the wrong products to our buyer (you). In such cases, the buyer (you) has the right to return the parcel for an exchange.

Requirement for unboxing video

To initiate a return, the buyer (you) must provide an uncut, unedited unboxing video demonstrating the contents of the parcel. The video must prominently display the waybill (shipping label) to verify the accuracy of the claim.FROM START OF UNBOXING TO FINISH!!

EXPECTED TIME OF ARRIVAL

Orders are expected to arrive within 2 to 5 weeks from the shipping date. This timeframe accounts for potential delays and uncertainties in the shipping process. Despite the usual delivery time of FETA typically ranging from 1 to 3 weeks, the extended ETA (semi-feta) of 2 to 5 weeks provides a buffer to accommodate any unexpected circumstances.

Late payment (once on hand)

These are the conditions when payment was not made within the given date:

Late payment fee

Effective immediately, a late payment fee of ₱50 per day will be applied to overdue orders.

Due date

Payment for services or purchases must be received by the specified due date as outlined in the invoice or payment instructions.

Late payment notification

Buyers will be notified if payment is not received within the due date.

Calculation of late fees

Late fees will be calculated on a daily basis, and the total amount will be added to the outstanding balance.

Consequences of late payment

Failure to pay late fees may result in additional penalties or suspension of services.BLOCKED FROM OUR ACCOUNT, BANNED FROM OUR SHOP!

Additional fees

These are factors to consider when extra expenses arise:

Customs detainment fee

MooncartPH reserves the right to charge extra fees if a customer's package, including their order/s, is detained by Philippine Customs. This fee covers any additional costs such as taxes or expenses incurred due to customs processing or clearance delays.

Unexpected rise in shipping costs

We (admins) also retain the right to impose an additional fee in the event of an unexpected rise in international shipping costs. This fee is implemented to offset any increased expenses associated with shipping services, such as fuel surcharges or carrier rate adjustments.


By including these provisions in the payment policy, we seek to inform customers of the potential additional charges under specific circumstances beyond our control, such as customs detainment or fluctuating shipping costs.Customers are advised to review and acknowledge these terms before completing their (your) purchase to ensure transparency and understanding regarding potential additional fees.

These are the conditions about fees to be collected for various services:

Packing fee

Customers have the option to add protection to their orders for a minimum fee of 15 pesos. The packaging options include a Toploader, bubble mailer, chipboard, carton, box, bubble wrap, or OPP plastic. This fee is OPTIONAL.If customers choose not to add protection, items will be shipped in the same condition received from Mercari sellers. (meaning if there is no Toploader, sleeves, or carton, we will ship it as it is).(TAKE NOTE OF THIS!)

Customer's preference for packaging

Customers who are maarte (meticulous) about how items are packed are advised not to trust the standard packaging provided by Mercari sellers. Instead, they are encouraged to pay an additional fee for additional packaging to ensure the safety of their items during transit.

Seller's packaging

The policy acknowledges that not all sellers on Mercari ship items with protective packaging, such as sleeves, cartons, plastic, or boxes. In such cases, we ensure that items are safely wrapped using whatever materials the Mercari seller used, unless the customer opts to pay for additional packaging.


By offering customers the option to pay for additional packaging, the policy aims to address concerns about the safety of items during shipping, particularly when sellers may not provide adequate protection.Customers are given options to choose the level of packaging they prefer based on their individual preferences and requirements.

international and local shipping fee

International shipping fee

The international shipping fee is already included in the listing price. Customers will not be charged separately for international shipping.

Local shipping fee via J&T

A minimum fee of 54 pesos will be collected for local shipping via J&T. This fee includes a voucher; however, if customers (you) wish to have their (your) orders shipped immediately, they (you) have to pay 75 pesos for shipping.Please note that the minimum charge for residents in the Luzon area is 54 pesos. Shipping fees will vary based on your location. Please ensure discretion when providing your delivery address.

Shopee checkout

When customers (you) opt for Shopee checkout as the courier, a link will be provided when the item/s are on hand. From then, you are required to pay the additional 5 pesos through this link due to the minimum listing requirement on Shopee.


By outlining these fees, the policy provides clarity on the costs associated with various services offered, such as local shipping via J&T, and using Shopee as a courier. Customers are informed of their options and obligations regarding fees, allowing for transparency in the purchasing process.

Customers will receive picture updates of their order/s to keep them informed of the progress.

Handling

Items will be handled with care prior to shipment to ensure they are in good condition before shipment.

Responsibility for delays or damages

Once items are shipped, we (admins) cannot be held responsible for any delays or damages incurred during transit by the courier. However, every precaution is taken to securely pack all items to minimize the risk of damage.

Return/Refund policy
